Gerda Jansen Hendriks has worked as a reporter/director for Dutch public television since 1988. Currently she
is preparing a series about Indonesia 1900–1950, to be broadcast in 2021. In 2014 she completed her PhD about gov ernmentproduced films in the Dutch East Indies.
